Pinnacle Lookout, Border Ranges 30/3

After trekking through the Brindle Creek rain forest track for a couple of hours taking photographs of the creeks and trees, Emily and I moved further around the mountain to the Pinnacle Lookout.

The Pinnacle Lookout is located in the Border Ranges National Park in Northern New South Wales and is only a short walk from the main road that loops around the mountain. On this particular day I was pretty lucky with the cloud formations.

Shortly after taking this photo we crashed Emily’s car into a tree and wrote it off. Luckily neither of us were injured too badly.

Wrote it off! Good lord, I take it everyone was OK? Clearly the equipment escaped without harm :)

Hi Tim,

Yes, everyone is okay. And luckily I had just put the camera back in it’s bag shortly before the accident :)

Great shot Beau, glad to hear everyone is ok and your equipment also survived the crash.

Bummer about the car… but hey you got the shot. Wonder how the light falls on this spot on sunrise and sunset. Would be great if that mountain range on the right lit up.
