Tanah Lot (Land In The Sea) Temple 15/10

Tanah Lot Temple - Land In The Sea

I have just been browsing through some of my older photographs and came across this one of Tanah Lot – a Balinese temple carved out of a natural rock formation in the ocean. In the Balinese language “Tanah Lot” means Land [in the] Sea. A very fitting name.

It is a beautiful place in the world, besides the hundreds of other tourists and the heavily commercialized and tourist orientated entrance to the area, and I’d love to get back there next time I’m in Bali to shoot some more photographs and enjoy a fantastic sunset once again.

I’ve been making some changes around the site, so please excuse the mess while I finish up.

Thanks,

Beau

Twin Lakes, Bali 25/2

I shot this panorama of the Twin Lakes in Bali while I was over there last year in July.

The Twin Lakes are located in Northern Bali, near Bedugul, about 2 and a half to 3 hours drive from the tourist capital, Kuta. The lakes are known as Tamblingan Lake and Buyan Lake; Buyan Lake, on the right, being the third biggest lake on the island.

I also processed this as a black and white – not sure which I prefer yet. Any suggestions?
